Running the Beta 2 Getting Started with LINQ to Entities Samples

Download the Beta 2 samples from the Releases section on the right.

Prerequisites

1. ADO.NET Entity Framework Beta 2
2. ADO.NET Entity Framework Tools August 2007 CTP.
3. SQL Server 2005. You can download the Express Edition if you do not already have a copy of SQL Server 2005. SQL Server Express is included with Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2.

Read "Getting Started with LINQ to Entities.mht" (included in the release .zip file) for more information about these samples.

Running the Beta 2 LINQ Query samples

Download the release from the Releases section on the right.

Prerequisites

1. ADO.NET Entity Framework Beta 2
2. For the best experience, also install the ADO.NET Entity Framework Tools August 2007 CTP.
3. SQL Server 2005. You can download the Express Edition if you do not already have a copy of SQL Server 2005. SQL Server Express is included with Visual Studio 2008 Beta 2.
